Who is responsible for your data

Cheila Ng Hó, independent professional registered in Portugal. Tax details are given on every proposal and receipt. Contact: info@cheilangho.com.

What data I collect

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It only stores, in your own browser, the language you chose.

Why I use it

Legal bases under the GDPR: steps taken at your request before a contract (replying and proposals); performance of the contract (the service); legal obligation (tax records); and consent (recordings, research), which you can withdraw at any time.

Sensitive information

I do not ask for health data or other special categories of data. If you choose to share such information because it matters to your situation, I use it only for your case, keep only what is necessary, and treat it under your explicit consent.

AI tools

I use AI tools, such as ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), to organise and structure information from the work, such as summarising notes or drafting maps. I share with them only what the task needs, and remove names where possible. Interpretation and decisions are always human: mine, together with the person or organization I work with. Where a tool allows it, I use settings that stop content from being used to train its models.

Who else has access

I do not sell your data or pass it on to anyone. It goes only through the service providers the work needs (email, file storage, AI tools and website hosting) and, where the law requires it, to the tax authority. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards set out in the GDPR.

Recordings

Recording is optional. It only happens with everyone's agreement, with its purpose and confidentiality agreed beforehand.

How long I keep data

Anonymised information, from which no person or organization can be identified, directly or by combining details, may be kept to study patterns across cases.

Research and development of the methodology

A case is only used to develop the methodology in anonymised form and with a separate authorization. You can refuse it without any effect on the service, and withdraw it at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Write to info@cheilangho.com. I reply within one month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
